The First Two Walt Disney World Parks Have Many Differences
As the first two of the four parks that comprise Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT share a few things in common. At the same time, however, they couldn't be two more total opposites. In Episode 40 of 1923 Main Street®: The Daddy Daughter Disney Travel Podcast, we take a closer look at both Disney's Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. We highlight our top picks for favorite rides and attractions, best places to dine and other favorite secrets to discover in each park. Likes, Dislikes and Future Hopes for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a classic original Walt Disney World hotel. So what's great about it? What's not so great about it? And what should we hope to see in the future?

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is Getting a Much-Needed Refurbishment
Disney has announced that the Polynesian is undergoing a (much needed) refurbishment and is expected to reopen in the summer of 2021. The refurbishment will cover guest rooms and the Great Ceremonial House (the main lobby) and will include themes, colors and textures from the Pacific Islands and Moana theming. Sadly, however, the refurbishment will not include (at least initially), the Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Villas. These rooms are also in need of attention, so we hope that they will be addressed at some point. Can Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Return to its Former Glory? The questions remain, however, will this be enough to help a sorely aging property return to its former glory? Join us as we discuss Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in its current state, including what we like about it, what we don't like about it and what we hope to see once the refurbishment is completed in 2021. With such a big following, hopefully Disney will do it right and give the property some much needed TLC.
